Who am i
I’m a South African professional artist (BSc. L. Arch) who lives in Dubai. My husband and I moved here in 2021. We both enjoy the outdoors and are keen birders!
I’m in the pursuit of beauty. I long to find it, to understand it, to capture it. There is a kind of visual poetry that drives my creativity.
WHY ART?
I love nature. That is really it.
I’m an artist as I love nature. From a very young age I felt drawn to expressing my appreciation and pursuit of visual understanding of the natural world through art.
In a sense I don’t feel much like an artist. I’m not your typical creative in temperament and outlook on life.
I’m an appreciator of the beauty found in plants, animals and landscapes. My heart feels most alive when I can feel the wind in my hair and the earth under my feet.
